SING FOR A HEALTHY LIFE!
Health experts keep finding more and more reasons why singing is good for you, especially for those who have difficulty finding healthy ways to relax and socialise after work.
The health benefits of singing are improved breathing and lung capacity, posture, listening and concentration skills, stress-busting and pain relief. But singing with others is also great fun as showed by the popularity of TV shows such as the “choir” and “last choir standing”.
Thames Voyces is a very popular local chamber choir of about 25 voices, but, as in most mixed choirs, women can outnumber men by two to one, or often even more - so we need more men! The message is clear - join a local choir to have fun and get healthy. We hold weekly Tuesday rehearsals at South Hill Park, Bracknell which members find hugely rewarding and fun - so why not join us?”.

We are currently recruiting people with sight reading ability and a passion for singing, particularly tenors and basses.
